  • Mt. Geumseong. Mt. Geumseong, famous in Uiseong for its many legends, is a peak of the southern branch of the Taebaek Mountain Range. Mt. Geumseong is 530 meters high, and was Korea’s first extinct volcano.
  • Tumuli on Mt. Geumseong. The Tumuli on Mt. Geumseong were designated Gyeongsangbuk-do Monument No. 128 on April 13, 1998. Approximately 200 ancient tombs are distributed throughout Daeri-ri, Hangmi-ri and Tamni-ri in Uiseong-gun and are thought to have been built in the Three Kingdoms period around the 5th and 6th centuries.
  • Sansuyu Village. Sansuyu Village is located in Hwajeon-ri, Sagok-myeon, Uiseong-gun, Gyeongsangbuk-do, and the entire village is covered in yellow Japanese Cornelian Cherry flowers from late March to early April every year.
  • Five Storied Stone Pagoda of Tamni-ri, Uiseong. This is a five-story granite stone pagoda located in Tamni-ri, Geumseong-myeon, Uiseong-gun, Gyeongsangbuk-do, and was designated National Treasure No. 77.
